Sampling list for special Hatzieleksiadis papers

Print:
Four-colour CMYK offset printing was used on the hardcover on both sides of each individual set of the sample book with a clear thermo print on the spine. For the interior pages we used mainly Pantone black and in some cases metallic silver Pantone and fluorescent Pantone. We also used thermoprinting with different colours, screen printing and digital printing depending on the thickness and type of material. One Pantone black was used on the case.
Finish:
Matt UV varnish on both sides of the hard cover. Holes were created for the nickel screws and crease lines for proper folding. Double gluing was also applied to create an 800g hard cover. A shape was printed on the outer case.
Bondage:
In order to achieve the desired effect of easy rotation of each individual set, nickel strip screws were used. Each sheet in each set is arranged and assembled by hand. This manual process is necessary because of the various types of materials and paper weights that an automatic machine may not be able to handle efficiently.
Papers:
Acrodesign Bianco 400g for the hardcover by Fedrigoni and over 800 different special and common papers were printed to create the entire sample book.
